Welcome to Dezi & Roo, the company I created to enrich and improve the lives of cats and their owners! In both my veterinary practice and in my home, I have met just about every size, shape, breed and temperament of cat. I have never met one I didn't like, but I recognize that sometimes our animals' behaviors are not optimal.

I am Dr. Lynn Bahr, a 1991 graduate of the University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine, and I have enjoyed a rewarding and successful career loving animals. Watching the evolution of pets from animals (remember when dogs slept in doghouses and you threw the cat out at night?) to cherished family members, I realized that there is a growing set of new challenges that arise as animals adapt to family life inside four walls. Recognizing that feline behavior problems often lead to abandonment, re-homing, relinquishment to shelters, and even the premature euthanasia of a healthy cat has lead to me find ways to strengthen the partnership between people and their pets. This is where Dezi & Roo came from. (Yes, two of the cats that share my life were staring at me. What else could I name it?) 

My business focuses on providing effective products, tools, and training to successfully resolve issues that cat lovers face. Dezi & Roo gives pet parents the opportunity to learn more about what their cats need and why they need it, and the ability to purchase well-researched items to meet those needs. Plus, we donate a portion of the sale of every product to pet-related charities to help those animals less fortunate than our own.
